Free, Individual and Team side by side: prices, limits, the Team trial, how to choose a plan, and what happens to your files if you cancel.

## The Team trial

A new Team starts with a 7-day trial. You add a card at checkout, nothing is charged until the trial ends, and then Team renews each month.

1. **Start it** Create a team workspace and choose **Start 7-day trial**. Checkout saves your card and charges nothing today.
2. **Use all of it** Invite people, connect your domain and publish from every agent. The top bar shows how many days are left.
3. **Keep it, or cancel** When the trial ends, Team renews at $30 a month, plus extra editors. To stop, open **Settings → Billing**, choose **Manage subscription and payment method** and cancel before then: nothing is charged, and your files stay.

> **Good to know.** There's one trial per person, and not after a paid plan. You'll get an email three days before the trial ends.

## Choose a plan

1. **Open Settings → Billing** In the workspace you want to upgrade.
2. **Choose the plan** Individual for your own workspace; Team for a team workspace.
3. **Check out** Pay by card, or start the trial where the plan has one. The new limits apply as soon as checkout completes.

You'll also be offered a plan when you reach a limit: running out of storage, adding a custom domain, or inviting a team.

## Payment method and invoices

In **Settings → Billing**, choose **Manage subscription and payment method** to change your card, see invoices or cancel. In a team workspace, admins manage billing.

## Downgrade or cancel

A canceled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. After that, the workspace keeps a small allowance:

| New publishing | Free limits apply: 3 active artifacts, 3 versions per artifact, 250 MB of storage, files up to 100 MB and 1 project. Existing files stay; remove unneeded content or upgrade to resume blocked actions. |
| Custom domain | Links move back to their artifact.guru addresses and keep working. |
| Team workspace | People can still open and read everything, but changes need the Team plan. |

> **Good to know.** Upgrade again at any time to lift these limits. Nothing needs to be re-uploaded or re-shared.

## What counts as storage

Every version of every file. **Settings → Storage** shows what uses the most space, by project. Deleting older versions is the quickest way to free space; see [Edit and versions](https://artifact.guru/docs/versions#storage).
