# Teams

A shared workspace for your team: create it, invite people, choose roles, and pay per editor.

## Team workspaces

A team workspace is one shared place for the team's files. Everyone in it sees the same projects and artifacts, and its links use the team's own address. It's separate from each person's personal workspace, which stays private to them.

1. **Create it** Open the workspace menu in the top bar and choose **New team workspace**. Give it a name.
2. **Check out** Team workspaces are on the **Team** plan. Complete checkout to activate it.
3. **Invite your team** Then add people, as below.

Move between your personal workspace and your teams from the top bar.

## Invite people

1. **Open Settings → Team** In the team workspace.
2. **Add addresses** Type one or more emails, up to 20 at a time, and pick a role.
3. **They join** Each person gets an email with a link to join. People who already have an account can also accept from the workspace menu.

Pending invitations are listed in Settings, where you can cancel them.

## Roles

| Role | Permissions |
| --- | --- |
| **Member** | See and edit the team's documents and projects. |
| **Admin** | Can also invite and remove people and change the address and domain. |

## Seats

The Team plan includes 3 editors. Each extra editor is $8 a month, up to 15 in all. Adding someone mid-month is prorated; removing someone takes effect at renewal.

## Agents in a team

Each person connects their own agent and ticks the team workspace when approving it. Anything published there is the team's: **Private** in a team workspace means the whole team can open it.

> **Good to know.** When someone leaves the team, their agents lose access to its workspace straight away, because membership is checked on every call.
