Palette alternative · Desktop workspace for AI agents
Palette runs your AI agents. We share what they make.
Palette Desktop is a Mac app where your team runs Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Mistral Vibe on shared folders and reviews every change. artifact.guru is where finished work goes out: one link, many formats, email invites.

Where Palette is good
- One Mac app runs Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Mistral Vibe or Palette’s own agent, so non-engineers get agents without a terminal.
- Each session is a sandboxed copy of the folder: you review a diff of every change before it saves back, and can restore earlier versions.
- Shared HTML pages take comments from people who don’t use Palette, and the Team plan is one flat price for unlimited users.
Where artifact.guru is different
- artifact.guru isn’t where agents do the work. It’s where the result goes: Claude, ChatGPT (Business, Enterprise or Edu), Codex, Gemini CLI and Grok publish to it over MCP, approved once in the browser.
- It opens more than HTML: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, React components, Markdown with Mermaid and Marp slides, Excalidraw and zipped sites. The original stays downloadable.
- Every link starts private. Switch it to email invites, an 8-character secret code that can expire, or public, and the link stays the same.
- Email links show who opened, when and how often, and who hasn’t yet. On paid plans, public and code links can live on your own subdomain.
Moving over from Palette
- 1Keep Palette for the agent work. When a page or file is done, drag it from the shared folder into artifact.guru.
- 2Or connect artifact.guru to Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI once and ask the agent to publish.
- 3Pick who can open it, invite people by email, and send the link.
