Introduction
What artifact.guru is, how it works, and the quickest way to your first shared link.
What artifact.guru is
artifact.guru is a home for the files your AI agents make: reports, decks, documents, diagrams, prototypes and web apps. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini CLI or Grok once, and from then on publishing is a sentence: “publish this to artifact.guru”.
Every file lands in your workspace with a preview, a version history and a link. Nothing is shared until you say so. You choose who can open each link, and you can change your mind later without the link changing.

Quick start
- Create an account
Sign up at artifact.guru. You get a personal workspace right away. Choose Individual or Team in Settings → Billing when you need more room, your own domain or a team.
- Connect your agent
Add the artifact.guru address to your AI client and approve it once in your browser. See Connect your agent for each client.
Copyhttps://mcp.artifact.guru/mcp - Ask it to publish
Try “Publish this report to artifact.guru and give me the link.” The agent replies with a private link to the new artifact.
- Share it
Open the artifact, choose Share and pick who can open it: your workspace, people you invite, anyone with a secret code, or anyone with the link.
Key ideas
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Workspace | Where your files live. Everyone has a personal workspace; a team shares one on the Team plan. |
| Artifact | One published thing: a file, or a site made of many files. It has a title, a format, tags and a link. |
| Version | Every change adds a version. One version is live, and that's what the link shows. |
| Link | artifact.guru/your-workspace/link-name, or an address on your own domain. It stays the same through edits and access changes. |
| Project | A folder for artifacts. An artifact is in one project or none. |
| Access | Who can open the link: Private, Email, Secret code or Public. |
