Edit and versions
Every change is a new version at the same link. Edit in the app or through your agent, and roll back any time.
How versions work
Each publish or edit adds a version, numbered from 1. One version is live, and the link always shows it. When a file changes, nobody needs a new link: the people you shared it with see the latest version the next time they open it.

Edit in the app
Open an artifact and choose Edit. What you get depends on the format:
| Format | Editor |
|---|---|
| Markdown, Mermaid, Excalidraw | Source on one side, live preview on the other |
| HTML page | Source with a live preview |
| React component | Source; the preview updates when you save |
| PowerPoint | A slide editor for text and layout |
| Excel | A spreadsheet editor for cells, formulas and sheets |
Saving makes a new live version. Images, PDF, Word documents and sites with several files aren't edited in the app: publish a new file to the same artifact instead (see below).
Edit through your agent
Ask for the change in your own words: “change the delivery date to 14 November”. The agent reads the file, sends only the part that changes and checks a picture of the result. All of an edit applies, or none of it.
To replace a file, such as a new PDF export or an updated deck, open the artifact and choose Upload new version above the Versions list, or ask your agent to publish the new file to the same artifact. It becomes the next version, at the same link. The new file must be the same kind as the old one; a site with several files is replaced from an agent.
Roll back
- Open the artifact
The Versions list sits beside the preview, newest first.
- Choose a version
Pick Roll back on an older version, or Make live on a newer one.
- Done
That version is live at once, at the same link.
Rolling back never deletes anything, so you can move forward again. Agents can roll back too: “roll the roadmap back to version 3”.
Free up space
Older versions count toward your storage. Delete them for one artifact from its Versions list, or for the whole workspace in Settings → Storage, which also shows what takes the most space.
