Publish and upload

Publish from an agent or upload files yourself: supported formats, limits, names, search and projects.

Publish from an agent

Ask in plain words. The agent picks a title, sends the file and replies with its link. New artifacts are always private: only your workspace can open them until you share.

Text formats (Markdown, Mermaid, Excalidraw, a single HTML page, a React component) travel straight through the connection, so any client can publish them. Binary files (images, PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, zipped sites) are uploaded first, which needs an agent that can send file bytes, such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or Grok Bot.

Upload in the browser

  1. Open your workspace

Go to artifact.guru and sign in.

  2. Add files

Drag files anywhere on the page, or use Upload files. Drop them on a project to file them there.

  3. Upload a whole site

Use Upload folder for a built site or a React app: the folder becomes one artifact, served as a site.

Titles, tags and link names

The title comes from the file name or from your agent; rename it any time. Tags are free-form words that help search.

The link name is the last part of the link, as in /q3-roadmap. It's made from the title when you publish. Rename it in the artifact's Share panel, and links you already sent keep working: they redirect to the new name.

Projects

Projects group related artifacts, like folders. Create one in the sidebar, then drag artifacts onto it, or ask your agent: “move the Q3 files into the Q3 planning project”. Artifacts without a project stay in the main list.
