Cloudflare Pages and Access alternative · Static hosting with Zero Trust access
A Cloudflare Pages and Access alternative for what your AI made
Cloudflare serves static sites free from its global network, and Access can gate them behind your identity provider or emailed codes. artifact.guru puts sharing on the link itself: your agent publishes, you invite people by email and see who opened it.
Cloudflare’s docs now tell new projects to start on Workers

Pick Cloudflare Pages and Access if
- You want unlimited free static traffic and a preview URL for every deploy.
- Your company already signs in through a SAML or OIDC identity provider.
- You need rules by email domain, country or IP, and logs of every sign-in.
Pick artifact.guru if
- You want to invite a client by email without setting up Zero Trust apps and policies.
- The person sharing isn’t a developer and the file came straight out of an AI chat.
- You want to see which invited people opened it, and who hasn’t yet.

Where Cloudflare Pages and Access is good
- Requests to static files are free and unlimited on every plan, and every deploy keeps its own URL.
- Access can put a site behind any SAML or OIDC identity provider, or emailed one-time PINs, free for up to 50 users.
- Cloudflare Drop puts a static folder live on workers.dev with no account to start, agents can do the same with Wrangler, and you claim it within an hour to keep it.
Where artifact.guru is different
- Sharing is a setting on each link: Private, Email, Secret code or Public, and you can switch any time without changing the link.
- Agents publish over MCP from Claude, ChatGPT (Business, Enterprise or Edu), Codex, Gemini CLI and Grok. You approve once in the browser, with no Wrangler or build.
- Email links show who opened it, when and how often, and who hasn’t opened yet.
- PDF, Word and PowerPoint open in the browser too, and a file can be up to 100 MB, or 250 MB on Team.
Moving over from Cloudflare Pages and Access

- 2Move the addresses from your Access policy into an Email invite on the artifact, up to 50.
- 3Send the artifact.guru link in place of the pages.dev address.
Questions about Cloudflare Pages and Access and artifact.guru
Is Cloudflare Pages being replaced by Workers?
Pages still runs, but Cloudflare’s Pages docs now tell new projects to start on Workers, which covers most Pages use cases. Workers can serve static assets and can also sit behind Access.
Can Access let in a client who has no company login?
Yes. Add their email to the policy and turn on one-time PIN, and Access emails them a single-use code that expires after 10 minutes. On artifact.guru you add their address to the artifact and they sign in with it.
What does Cloudflare Access cost?
Access is part of Cloudflare Zero Trust. Its Free plan covers up to 50 users; above that, Pay-as-you-go costs $7 per user per month. On artifact.guru you pay for editors, not viewers.
Can I see who opened a page behind Access?
Access authentication logs record each sign-in with the user’s email, time and country, and the free Zero Trust plan keeps logs up to 24 hours. artifact.guru email links show who opened it, when, how often and who hasn’t.
