Pagelive alternative · Private tracked links for client work
Beyond HTML: a Pagelive alternative for PDFs, decks and React
Pagelive sends AI-built HTML to clients as private, tracked links they can comment on and approve. artifact.guru also shares PDFs, decks and React, from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini CLI and Grok, for $12/month or $30 for a team of 3.

Where Pagelive is good
- Clients comment on a sentence, pin an element, suggest exact wording, and approve or request changes, and an agent can apply edits over MCP.
- It knows who read it: per-person recipient links, verified email or Google sign-in, plus engaged reading time with bots filtered out.
- Solo adds password pages, reply forms with an audience list, an email on every open with a daily digest, and up to 5 custom domains.
Where artifact.guru is different
- More than HTML opens in the browser: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, React components, Markdown with Mermaid and Marp slides, Excalidraw and zipped sites. Drag in a folder and a built site becomes one artifact.
- Claude, ChatGPT (Business, Enterprise or Edu), Codex, Gemini CLI and Grok publish over MCP, plus any app that adds a remote MCP server with OAuth. No API keys: approve once in the browser.
- Pricing for one person or a team: Individual is $12 a month with unlimited links and your own domain, and Team is $30 a month for 3 editors, then $8 each.
- Email links show who opened, when and how often, and who hasn’t yet. The team’s own opens don’t count.
Moving over from Pagelive
- 1Drag the HTML files you published on Pagelive into artifact.guru, or a folder of them at once.
- 2Connect artifact.guru in Claude, ChatGPT or Codex so new work publishes there.
- 3Set each link to email invites or a secret code, and move your subdomain with two DNS records.
Questions about Pagelive and artifact.guru
Can clients comment or approve on artifact.guru?
Clients you invite by email can comment in a panel beside the page, and your agent can read, answer and resolve those comments. There are no approvals or suggested edits, and comments aren’t pinned to a sentence or an element. If sign-off on the page matters most, Pagelive does it well.
How do they show who opened a link?
Pagelive names readers through recipient links, verified email or Google sign-in, and measures reading time. artifact.guru names each person you invite by email and shows when and how often they opened, but not time on page.
Which is cheaper?
For one person, artifact.guru Individual is $12 a month and Pagelive Solo is $15. For a team of 10, Pagelive Team is $49 a month and artifact.guru Team comes to $86. Both have free plans: 3 live links here, 2 public pages there.
Do both keep pages off Google?
Yes. Pagelive pages are noindex by default, and artifact.guru’s shared links ask search engines not to index them. New artifact.guru links also start private.
