Where DocSend is good

  • Tracking is the core: you see who viewed, how long each visitor spent on every page, and get real-time alerts when they read or forward.
  • Advanced adds the controls investors expect: verified emails, allow and block lists, NDA gates before viewing and dynamic watermarks.
  • Spaces turn a set of files into a data room, with group permissions and audit logs on Advanced Data Rooms, and Standard includes unlimited e-signatures.

Where artifact.guru is different

  • Your AI’s work opens as it is: HTML pages, React components, Markdown with Mermaid or Marp slides and zipped sites, next to PDF, Word and PowerPoint. The original is always downloadable.
  • Agents publish over MCP from Claude, Codex, Gemini CLI and Grok, and from ChatGPT developer mode in Business, Enterprise or Edu workspaces. You approve once in the browser.
  • Email links show each person who opened it, when and how often, and who hasn’t opened yet. There is no time-per-page view, which is where DocSend goes deeper.
  • Every publish or edit is a new version at the same link, and you can roll back any time. Individual is $12 a month with your own domain.

Moving over from DocSend

  1. 1Start from the originals: the PDF or PowerPoint you uploaded to DocSend, or the HTML your AI made.
  2. 2Drag them into artifact.guru, or ask your agent to publish them over MCP.
  3. 3Set each link to Email and invite your investors; each one signs in with that address.
