Where here.now is good
- The Free plan is generous: 500 sites, 10 GB, analytics and version history, and agents can publish with no account for 24 hours.
- Access control is strong: a password, invite-only by verified email or whole email domain, owner-only, or members-only workspaces.
- It goes past hosting, with a built-in database for forms and polls, private Drives for agent files, and domains you can buy in-app.
Where artifact.guru is different
- Agents publish over MCP from Claude (claude.ai, desktop, mobile, Claude Code), Codex, Gemini CLI, Grok and any app that adds a remote MCP server with OAuth. You approve once in the browser.
- PDF, Word, PowerPoint, React components and Markdown with Mermaid, Excalidraw and Marp slides open in the browser. The original is always downloadable.
- Email links show each invited person who opened it, when and how often, and who hasn’t opened yet. Your team’s own opens don’t count.
- In a Team workspace, search covers the text inside PDFs, Word and PowerPoint, and projects keep work apart per client or launch.
Moving over from here.now
- 1Use the files your agent already has, or read them back from here.now with your API key.
- 2Add artifact.guru to your AI as a remote MCP server and approve it once in the browser.
- 3Ask your AI to publish, then pick who can open each link: your workspace, invited emails, a secret code or public.
